About Enchanted Lake
Enchanted Lake sits inland from Kailua's beaches, wrapped around the 80-acre Kaelepulu Pond that gives the neighborhood its name. It's the quieter, more sheltered side of Kailua: drier air, fewer trade winds, and a mix of home styles that doesn't try to compete with Beachside's price tag. Homes along the lake and canal get private dock access for kayaking and paddleboarding straight into the water, and the neighborhood borders the Mid-Pacific Country Club golf course on its inland edge. Most of the original homes here went up in the 1960s, and a lot of them have been renovated rather than torn down, so you'll find everything from untouched mid-century ranches to fully modernized four- and five-bedroom homes on the same street.
